I had the pleasure yesterday of making a guest appearance along with author and publicist Alexander Greenwood on a radio talk show called “Central Standard,” which is featured on Kansas City’s National Public Radio affiliate KCUR (89.3 FM). We discussed the trends of e-book marketing, self-publishing, and book trailers. I recently produced three book trailers as part of my new “day job” as a motion graphics producer in Kansas City. As a published author with my very own book trailer, I figured there might be a mention of “Silver Shoes” along the way. But I was caught off-guard (in a good way) to find us spending a decent amount of time discussing the novel, the creative genesis behind it, and even a bit of the backstory itself!
The entire one-hour interview is available as a podcast on KCUR’s website, or you can CLICK HERE to go to a direct link of the mp3 file. I enter the conversation right around the 24-minute mark.
Hope you enjoy!
P.S. — If I sound a little hesitant at times, it’s because I was slightly thrown by so much “Silver Shoes” talk. Not that this is a bad thing for me! I didn’t know whether I should keep going on or cut it short to help steer things back on topic. But I thoroughly enjoyed this interview, and I’m very pleased I got a chance to speak on-air about “Silver Shoes.”
